Care Fund Surpassing Previous Number in Need

RISON - With weeks to go before the Christmas holiday approaches, organizers with the Cleveland County Cares Fund are already reporting the number of children and families in need are about to surpass the number helped last year.

EHC Group Plays Bingo at the Green House Cottages

RISON - Every month the "Y" Extension Homemakers Club goes to the Green House Cottages to play bingo with the residents. This month it was held at the Sadler Cottage Monday, Nov. 18, and residents from the other Cottages come to join in on the fun and games.

RISON - The Rison United Methodist Church Choir will host The First Noel Cantata Sunday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. at the church.An encore variation of the program will be performed Friday, Dec. 20 at the Rison Shine and Pioneer Village’s special Christmas Food Truck Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
