KINGSDLAND - City Attorney Thomas Burns recommended to Mayor Sharon Crosby and the Kingsland City Council last Thursday night to create a planning commission to consider future development of the city and possible areas for annexation.

The pilot nor his passenger were injured, and the sheriff's department there was no damage to the plane.

RISON - A teenage pilot and his passenger flying a single engine plane from Houston to Pine Bluff found himself sitting in the middle of a cow pasture outside of Rison last Thursday afternoon after the plane ran out of the fuel.
