Most of County Eligible for Fiber Optic Broadband

RISON - A new map released through the Arkansas State Broadband Office this week shows that much of Cleveland County is already eligible to receive grant money to provide high-speed fiber optic internet service to those areas that currently do not have access to it.

Alternative School Proposed for Kingsland

RISON - The Cleveland County School Board voted to table a decision on moving Cleveland County Head Start students from Kingsland to the Rison after Superintendent Jerrod Williams informed the board that discussions are underway to possibly use the Kingsland campus as an alternative school.
