RISON - As festival preparation begins on Friday afternoon, Oct. 6, some streets will begin closing in Downtown Rison, Rison in the Fall organizer Douglas Boultinghouse has announced. "Our concert stage will be arriving Friday afternoon between 1 and 5 p.m.," he said.

WOODLAWN - Woodlawn High School will begin the 2023 Homecoming Activities Thursday, Oct. 12 with the annual afternoon Homecoming Ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. School will be dismissed at the conclusion of the ceremony. On Thursday evening, the Homecoming Ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m.
