WOODLAWN - Garrett Weatherford went 4-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs as the Woodlawn Bears knocked off the Junction City Dragons, 15-4, in five innings Tuesday at Woodlawn.The Bears improved to 18-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play with the win.

WOODLAWN - Woodlawn had 11 hits and drew nine walks over three innings as the Lady Bears dominated the Junction City Lady Dragons, 16-1, in an 8-2A conference game Tuesday at Lady Bear Field.Junction City took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first off two walks and a ground out.

RISON - Three Lady Wildcats finished with three hits apiece Tuesday as Rison hammered the Glen Rose Lady Beavers, 17-6, in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Lady Wildcat Field.

Woodlawn Survives Late Rally By Wildcats, 9-8

WOODLAWN - After being down by five entering the top of the seventh, the Rison Wildcats plated four runs and had the tying run at second when Woodlawn's Tate Hall managed to get a strikeout to finally end the game and turn back the Wildcat rally, 9-8, Tuesday afternoon at Woodlawn.

Rison's Taylor Signs with ASU-Three Rivers

RISON - Rison Lady Wildcat catcher Senior Breanna Taylor signed a National Letter of Intent last Friday to play softball at Arkansas State University-Three Rivers at Malvern, which competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
