Transfer Station Closed This Friday

RISON - The Cleveland County Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed for all drop offs on Friday, April 7 in observance of Good Friday.

Woodlawn Community Club 4-H kids last month learned about food and nutrition which focuses on our healthy living component of 4-H. Foods and Nutrition projects help the youth to learn to make healthy food choices and reduce the risk of illness and disease.

Mt. Olivet To Host Food Bank Saturday

CALMER - Mount Olivet Methodist Church at Calmer will have its Food Bank from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, April 8, the church has announced. Mount Olivet is located at the Hwy. 63/ Hwy. 114 junction at Calmer. The food bank is held the second Saturday of each month.
