Food Pantry Sat at Macedonia MBC

RISON - Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located on Hwy. 35 South, will open its Food Pantry Saturday, Aug. 19 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The church holds its food pantry the third Saturday of each month.

RISON - Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church on Hwy. 35 south of Rison will be hosting Awana registration and a cookout with burgers and hot dogs at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, to celebrate the return of youth discipleship program for the 2022-23 school year.

The Friendship Association District ladies auxiliary met on July 14th, 2022, with Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas. Sister Mildred Carter presided over the meeting. County Offering New Alert Notifications to Residents

RISON - More than 100 resi‐dents of Cleveland County have so far taken advantage of a free alert system that notifies people of emergencies, weather alerts and even community events through text messages, emails, voice calls and other means.
