RISON - Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located at 7370 Hwy. 35 South, will open its Food Pantry Saturday, Dec. 20 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The church holds its food pantry the third Saturday of each month.

RISON - The Rison City Council approved a $1,200 raise for all hourly city employees during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday night.The council unanimously approved Mayor Charles Roberts' recommendation to approved the raises after meeting in executive session.
