Tick-Borne Pathogen Confirmed In Two Cleveland County Cows

RISON - Theileria orientalis, a protozoan parasite that destroys red blood cells in cattle and could potentially cause death, has been confirmed in two head of cattle in Cleveland County, said David West,  agricultural agent with the Cleveland County Cooperative Extension Service.

Emergency Vehicle Driving Course Held in New Edinburg

NEW EDINBURG - The New Edinburg, County Line and Bradley Rural Volunteer Fire Departments met recently in New Edinburg to conduct the Emergency Vehicle Driving Course.  Combined in the three departments were twenty-eight volunteer firemen that completed the required annual certification training.

Dates Set for Beautification, Events Planning Meetings
