KINGSLAND - For the second consecutive month, the Kingsland City Council selected someone to fill a vacancy on the fourmember council after it was discovered the previous appointee was ineligible to serve since she did not reside within the proper ward.

Two Fatalities, One Injury Reported From Accident South of Woodlawn

RISON - Two people died and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a single vehicle accident Tuesday evening along Hwy. 63 south of Woodlawn School. Names of the victims and other details about the accident had not been released by Arkansas State Police as of press time.
