RHS Boosters Begin Membership Drive

RISON - The Rison Booster Club is launching its summer membership drive for Rison High School alumni and supporters interested in helping the school’s athletic programs.

Cater Family Takes Over Local Poultry Business

PANSY - While the Cater family took over what was previously Batesville Poultry back in January, the Caters waited until this past Friday to formally introduce Premiere Poultry Supply, Inc. to the community and local growers with a grand opening at their store at 15260 Hwy.

Updated Hours at Solid Waste Transfer Station

RISON - Cleveland County Judge Jimmy Cummings has announced updated hours at the Cleveland County Solid Waste Transfer Station until further notice.The Transfer Station is open Monday-Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Taylor-Cash Reunion June 7 at Staves Community Center

RISON - The annual Jess and Lottie Cash Taylor's family reunion will be held Saturday, June 7, at the Y (Staves) Com‐ munity Center.The reunion begins at 10 a.m. and will include a potluck lunch at 12 Noon. All relatives and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Woodlawn Hires Means As New Football Coach

WOODLAWN - Doug Means, a veteran coach who was as an assistant coach/special teams coordinator at Class 5A Magnolia this past season, has been hired as the new football coach at Woodlawn High School.
