PINE BLUFF - The Bobby Lee Terry Memorial Golf Tournament, benefiting the Rison High School Baseball Team, will be held Saturday, May 3.The 4-Man Scramble kicks off at 1:30 p.m. at Jaycee Golf Course, 629 Jaycee Drive in Pine Bluff. A lunch is provided at 12 noon.The cost is $200 per team.

Holly Springs To Host Concert from Joseph Habedank

STAR CITY - Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church will host a free concert Sunday, May 4 at 6 p.m. from Christian singer Joseph Habedank as part of his 2025 Autobiography spring tour.The church is located at 13369 AR-54 East. A love offering will be received.

NEW EDINBURG - Members of the New Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department pose for a photo with Bruce and Landon Booth after the fire department bought the 1989 Beck pumper truck from Bruce Booth last year. After making some modifications, the truck was recently brought online into operations.

MONTICELLO - Mainline Health Systems, Inc. is thrilled to announce that it has received grant funding from the Blue & You Foundation to support the purchase of sleep sacks for infants, promoting a safe sleep environment and reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Historical Society Meeting Thursday

RISON - The Cleveland County Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20 at the Cleveland County Library.This will be a planning session. Anyone who is interested in the history of Cleveland County or in researching their own family history is invited to attend and become a member.

The Wesley Chapel Cemetery located north of Woodlawn along Hwy. 63 will have its annual clean-up day beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 5. In the event of rain, it will be held the following Saturday on April 12.Don't forget to bring yard tools.
