Rison High School Gets B on Report Card

Body

Superintendent Davy King reported Monday that Rison High School again earned a “B” and Rison Elementary a “C” on the Arkansas Department of Education’s 2024-25 School Report Card. King said the elementary grade was lower than expected because growth in test scores slowed compared to last year. The school board also approved depositing $107,201.60 from the sale of the Kingsland campus property and combining two district bank accounts to simplify finances. A Facilities Master Plan hearing was set for Nov. 17, and several personnel changes were approved. Rison High was also recognized for strong English/Language Arts growth.
