Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. is launching its “Shop Local Christmas Campaign” on Tuesday, Nov. 4, with a Holiday Open House and Market on Main Street from noon to 6 p.m. Participating businesses, including Rison Pharmacy, My Berry Patch and Salon 7, will offer discounts, door prizes, and refreshments.
Shoppers will earn entries for a $200 local gift certificate drawing to be awarded Dec. 11 after the Cleveland County Christmas Parade. A Holiday Market for local vendors will also be held that day. The campaign includes events, a Christmas scavenger hunt, and podcast promotions encouraging residents to support hometown businesses.
