Six Contested Races for Cleveland County in 2026

There will be six locally contested races in Cleveland County for the 2026 Republican primary election that will be held March 2, 2026. Here is a list of candidates in the contested races:

Cleveland County Judge - Jim Houston, Stephen McClellan, Rosemary Sinclair and Rickey Spencer
Cleveland County Sheriff - Lee Freeman, Keden Shrum and Brad Young.

Cleveland County Quorum Court
District 4 Justice of the Peace - Pat “Jo” Keegan-Potter, Ron Workman
District 5, Justice of the Peace - Kelly Slater, Lori Rotton

City of Kingsland
Mayor - Samantha Johnson, Karen Wiscaver

Constable
Niven Township - Joseph Dwayne Drye, Anthony Smith
