Woodlawn Travels to Hermitage Tonight

Body

The Woodlawn Bears face a potential trap game at Hermitage after a big win over defending state champion Strong last week.

Despite Hermitage’s recent struggles, the Hermits boast improved roster numbers and feature fast skill players led by junior quarterback Carson Curtis. Both teams share wins over South Side-Bee Branch, but Hermitage has also beaten Guy-Perkins and Blevins, while Woodlawn is undefeated and coming off an emotional road win.

Bears Coach Doug Means emphasizes the need to contain Curtis on the edges. The junior high teams will kick off at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity teams at 7 p.m. at Hermitage.
