The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute will host a free public health fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Pioneer Village in Rison. Organized with local partners, the event will feature more than 40 organizations offering flu shots, health screenings, cancer prevention resources, chair yoga, nutrition and fitness tips, and general wellness information. Visitors can also learn about healthy aging, financial wellness, and substance misuse prevention.
