Meeting Focuses on Ideas for Local Events

The final community meeting hosted Monday expanded into the broader Kickstart Cleveland County mission, focusing on countywide events and recreation. 

Recapped on the Free Range Conversations podcast, volunteers from Rison Shine, Pioneer Village, and the Fair Association discussed the growth of signature events like Rison in the Fall, improvements at the fairgrounds, and new ideas such as cooking competitions, concerts, rodeos, 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, and a drive-in movie night. 

Pioneer Village is also introducing a Haunted Trail and Zombie Carnival this Halloween.
