MELON TIME FOR THE WILDCATS - Rison baseball/assistant football coach Chad Cope reaches for a piece of watermelon in a post-practice treat furnished by John Varnell and Donnie Wilson. This is the second consecutive year that the Wildcats have been treated to watermelon after summer workouts. All the Rison High School athletic teams as well as the band and cheer leaders were invited to attend.

Risonn used threee quarterbackss with the first team offense and several players at running back.

JOHNSON LAUNCHES TRIPLE - Woodlawn senior Aidan Johnson watches as he blasts a triple into centerfield to start the bottom of the sixth inning in the Class 2A state semifinal game against Cedar Ridge. Five of the Bears' 11 hits in the game went for extra bases. Johnson and Tate Hall both had triples while Hall, Peyton Wells and Jayden Wilmoth had doubles.
