Youth Deer Hunt To Be Held Nov. 2-3

LITTLE ROCK - The 2024 Arkansas Game & Fish modern gun youth hunt will be held next Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2-3, as well as Jan. 4-5. The youth hunt is open statewide across all hunting zones.In Arkansas, hunters must between 6 and 15 years to participate in the youth modern gun deer hunt.

RISON - The Woodlawn School District presented its annual Report to the Public last Tuesday night, Oct. 15, in the Woodlawn School cafeteria. The report included presentations by Superintendent Dr. Kevin Hancock, High School Principal T.J. Hill and Interim Elementary Principal Jeff Wylie.

Festival Director Douglas Boultinghouse credits Esten and his wife for helping promote this year’s festival across social media, contributing to the largest crowd to date. The event is hosted by Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. Other performers included Rissi Palmer, BIAS, Marybeth Byrd and Matt Wilkerson.
