WOODLAWN - Lillie Faye McWhorter threw a no-hitter and struck out 19 as the Woodlawn Lady Bears remained perfect in 8-2A conference action with a 5-0 win over the Magnet Cove Lady Panthers Tuesday afternoon at Lady Bear Field.

McGEHEE - A six-run first inning and a three-hitter from Noah Matheson propeled the Rison Wildcats to an 11-1 win over the McGehee Owls in an 83A matchup Tuesday afternoon at McGehee.Rison moved to 5-0 in conference play and 8-3 overall with the victory.

RISON - Rison got off to a hot start and never looked back as the Wildcats dominated the Dumas Bobcats, 14-1, Tuesday afternoon at Wildcat Field.Rison improved to 7-3 overall and 4-0 in league play with the 8-3A conference win. Dumas fell to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in conference action.

DEWITT - Ty Motes and Tate Hall held the DeWitt Dragons to three hits as the Woodlawn Bears squeezed out a 3-1 non-conference win Tuesday afternoon at DeWitt.Woodlawn improved to 14-4 overall with the victory and are 3-0 in 8-2A conference play.

RISON - Six of Rison’s nine hits went for extra bases as the Lady Wildcats completed an 8-3A conference sweep of the Dumas Lady Bobcat with a resounding 21-0 win in the nightcap Tuesday evening at Lady Wildcat Field.Rison improved to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play with the sweep.
