Local Triathletes Soar at Broken Sword Event

CLARKSVILLE - Lauren Threlkeld finished first in her age group of 30-39 at the Clarksville Broken Sword Triathlon held this past weekend. She placed second overall in the female division. Following in her footsteps, her daughters brought home three youth triathlete medals for completing their races.

Fish Fry Benefit Planned Sept. 21 for Wesley Chapel

PINE BLUFF - A fish fry fundraiser benefiting Wesley Chapel Church and Cemetery at Randall is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m.The fish fry will be set up at John and Doris Vailes’ Glass Shop, 10639 Hwy. 63, in Pine Bluff, just north of the Cleveland/Jefferson County Line.

CCSB Approves Personnel Matters
