Food Pantry July 18 at Macedonia MBC

RISON - Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located at 7370 Hwy. 35 South, will open its Food Pantry Saturday, July 18 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The church holds its food pantry the third Saturday of each month.

USDA Commodities To Be Distributed July 11 at Kingsland

KINGSLAND - The Open Door Community Pantry located at 650 Hwy. 97 in Kingsland will be handing out USDA commodities from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, one hour earlier due to summer heat.Open Door Pantry usually distributes commodities on the second Saturday of each month.

New Cemetery Meeting, Fish Fry Set For Saturday

RISON - The New Cemetery at Rison will be meeting at 11 a.m. this Saturday, July 11, at First Baptist Church near the fairgrounds. Following the meeting, there will be a fish fry fundraiser at the church to help raise money for the upkeep of the cemetery.
