RISON - Rison United Methodist Church will be hosting a food pantry from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28. The church holds its food pantry the fourth Saturday of each month.

STAVES - The Jones-Sheldon Reunion will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at the “Y” Community Center at Staves. Friends and family are invited to begin gathering at about 10 a.m. with a potluck lunch served about noon.
