Woodlawn Elementary Holds Multiplication Bee

WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn Elementary School first annual multiplication bee finals were held Feb. 23. Hannah Watt, fourth grade Math teacher, hosted the event. Third through sixth grade students competed in voluntary classroom rounds. Twenty-seven students advanced to the semi final rounds.

Wildfire Conditions Are High In County

At approximately 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, the Rison Fire Department reported that it was dispatched to a structure fire in the 400 block of East Magnolia. The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported. Hwy 35 South Fire Department assisted.
