Church of Christ Welcomes New Minister Keden Shrum

RISON - Keden Shrum is the new minister for the Rison Church of Christ, succeeding Lanis Lindsey, who retired in early June. Bom in Mineral Wells, Texas, Shrum spent most of his life in Oklahoma as his father, also a Church of Christ minister, served in churches in Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma.

RISON - A plea agreement be‐tween Jared Spears, 35, of New Edinburg, and special prosecu‐tor Emily White of Little Rock has resulted in two rape charges being “nolle prossed” and a charge of sexual assault being amended to endangering the welfare of a minor, first degree.
