RISON - Woodlawn football coach Zach Meyer learned last Friday that his Bears will officially finish the 2023 season with a winning record after the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) announced that the Strong-Huttig Bulldogs were forfeiting all their games this season.

RISON - Rison High School senior catcher Canon Cope (center) signed a national letter of intent last Wednesday, Nov. 8, to play baseball for the Southern Arkansas University Muleriders at Magnolia.
The upcoming 2024 baseball season will be the first time for Canon Cope to play for the Wildcats.
