MONTICELLO - The Class 4A Camden Fairview Junior Cardinals had too much firepower for the Woodlawn Junior Bears as they rolled to a 48-27 non-conference win in the second round of the Drew Central Junior High Tournament last Wednesday.

Woodlawn Holds Off Multiple Rison Rallies for 77-70 Win

RISON - No lead was ever safe for the Woodlawn Bears Tuesday night as the Rison Wildcats answered nearly every Woodlawn run with one of their own. The Bears led by double digits in both the first and second half, but each time the ‘Cats would claw back in to cut it to a one-possession.

Lady Wildcats Fall at Ouachita, 57-52

DONALDSON - The Rison Lady Wildcats suffered their fourth consecutive loss Tuesday night with a 57-52 setback on the road against the Ouachita Lady Warriors. The loss dropped the Lady 'Cats to 1-3 in 8-2A conference play and 10-9 overall. Three of the four losses have come by five points or less.
