Rison, Charleston To Meet In 3A Semifinal This Friday

RISON - A berth in the Class 3A state championship game will be on the line this Friday night when the Rison Wildcats host the Charleston Tigers in a Class 3A state semifinal game at 7 p.m. at George Walker Field of Champions.

RISON - Asked what the message to his team would be this week, Rison head coach Clay Totty said he wants to emphasize that when you get down to the final eight of the playoff quarterfinals, then you have to almost look at each game as if it's for the state championship.

BROCKWELL - Last Friday night's Class 2A eight-man semifinal against the Izard County Cougars could very well go down as perhaps Woodlawn's most memorable comeback as well as its most devastating loss.
