RISON - The fourth annual Cruisin’ Cleveland County Bike Ride is set for Saturday, June 6 at the Pioneer Village at Rison.The ride includes various routes at 21, 29, 44 and 65 mile lengths, plus a revamped 30-mile gravel route.The ride begins at 7 a.m.

RISON - Rison United Methodist Church’s Outreach Program will host a Dorey’s Fish Fry fundraiser Thursday, June 11 from 4-6 p.m. Plates are $20.00, and proceeds go for food for the pantry.The church is located at 800 Main Street.

RISON - County Judge Donald Triplett informed the Cleveland County Quorum Court Monday night that the county will no longer be accepting used tires at the solid waste transfer station on Hwy. 79 in Rison.

Quorum Court Tables Decision On Cooler For County Coroner

RISON - County Coroner Chuck Valentine told the Cleveland County Quorum Court that the Arkansas State Crime Lab is providing the county with a three door cooler to store the bodies of the deceased, but the county will be responsible for finding a building to put it in.
