NEW MARKER FOR COACH PAUL “BEAR” BRYANT - Family members of the late Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant (left) and Marty Ryall, director of Arkansas Heritage, unveiled a new state historical marker designating the boyhood home of the legendary college football coach. Born in 1913 in Moro Bottom, Bryant grew up near the Smith Chapel community in southwestern Cleveland County. The marker is located on Hwy. 8 between Fordyce and New Edinburg.
