RISON - Halloween Events are beginning to be announced for Rison. Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. will host Trunk-or-Treat in Downtown Rison on Main Street beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.The Green House Cottages will hold its October Fest from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. simultaneously.

RISON - The Cleveland County Health Unit will a drive-thru flu shot clinic (weather permitting) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the clinic located at 409 East Magnolia Street in Rison.There is no out-of-pocket expense to you, but bring insurance information if you have it.Visit healthyar.

Rodeo This Weekend at Fairgrounds Arena

RISON - The Cleveland County Fair Association will host a rodeo this Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Fairgrounds Arena.The rodeo will begin at 8 p.m. nightly, with books opening at 6:30 p.m.Average buckles will be awarded, as well as $4,500 in added prize money.
