RISON - A teenage pilot and his passenger flying a single engine plane from Houston to Pine Bluff found himself sitting in the middle of a cow pasture outside of Rison last Thursday afternoon after the plane ran out of the fuel.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - In the first scientific report of its kind, researchers in Arkansas showed that chickens bred for water conservation continued to put on weight despite heat stress that would normally slow growth.
