Kingsland, Rison Suffer Water Issues In Storm's Aftermath

RISON - If battling the worst ice storm the region has experienced in nearly two decades was not enough, residents of Kingsland and Rison also found themselves contending with water issues during the aftermath of the storm.

RISON - Cleveland County's response to reach a man in the northwest part of the county who was having a medical issue and died at home during the height of last week's ice storm was addressed during the Cleveland County Quorum Court meeting Monday night.

RISON - Rison High School's search for a new head football coach ended Monday night when the Cleveland County School Board officially voted to hire Caleb Carmikle, formerly of Magnet Cove, to lead the Wildcat football program.

Rison City Council To Meet Monday

RISON - The Rison City Council's February meeting has been postponed to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Rison City Hall, Mayor Charles Roberts announced. The Rison City Council usually meets the first Tuesday of each month.
