Tax Collector’s Office Closed Thursday

Cleveland County Tax Collector Patti Wilson has announced that the tax collector’s office at the Cleveland County County Courthouse will be closed this Thursday, Nov. 13, for training. The office will resume regular business hours on Friday, Nov. 14.

Rison Methodist Adding Food Pantry Date

In light of food assistance programs being closed and furloughs issued due to the government shutdown, Rison United Methodist Church has announced it will be adding an extra food pantry date this month to help those in need. The extra food pantry will be held this Saturday, Nov.

Closure Scheduled on Highway 189 Near Warren

A portion of the Highway 189 Bypass just east of Warren is scheduled to close around the clock from 7 a.m. Friday, November 7, through 7 a.m. Sunday, November 9, to replace a railroad crossing.

CC Sheriff's Dept. Reports Local Scam

RISON - The Cleveland County Sheriff's Department posted a notice on its Facebook page Monday that it received a call from a county resident who suffered a sizable cash loss due to a scam from someone posing as a sheriff's deputy.
