Rison Methodist Food Pantry April 25

RISON - Rison United Methodist Church will be hosting a food pantry from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 25.The church, located at 800 Main Street, typically holds its food pantry the fourth Saturday of each month.

RBC Youth Plan Soup/Salad Lunch, Auction on April 26

RISON - Rison Baptist Church Youth will have a Soup and Salad Luncheon/Auction in the Fellowship Hall following the morning worship service on April 26. You are also invited to the morning service at 10 a.m.There will be several large items to be auctioned off as well as baked goods.

RISON - Rison High School FFA will host a Blue and Gold Banquet and Auction Thursday, April 30 at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds.The BBQ Dinner and Awards will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the auction at 7 p.m.Plates are $10 per person and include a BBQ sandwich, two sides, dessert and a drink.

RISON - The Cleveland County Veterans Affairs Office at the Hall-Morgan Post at 404 Sycamore St in Rison, will hold meetings Saturday, April 18 and 25 at 10 a.m. for anyone interested in joining and restarting an American Legion Post in the county.This is open to all Honorably discharged Veterans.
