MONTICELLO - Drew Central cashed in on a couple of errors in the fifth inning to regain the lead as the Lady Pirates pulled for an 8-5 win over the Rison Wildcats Tuesday in an 8-3A conference game at Monticello.Rison took a couple of leads in the game.

MAGNET COVE - Laci Rauls tossed a three-hitter and struck out 14 as the Woodlawn Lady Bears used a late surge to pull away for a 4-0 win over the Magnet Cove Lady Panthers Monday to open 8-2A conference play.

RISON - The Rison Wildcats and Woodlawn Bears will once again be conference opponents in non-football sports starting with the 2026-27 school year based.

GLEN ROSE - Woodlawn scored seven of its eight runs over the final three frames as the Bears overcame an early two-run deficit to beat the Glen Rose Beavers, 8-4, in a non-conference game last Thursday at Glen Rose.

Lady Bears Go 2-1 at Jonesboro Tourney

JONESBORO -The Woodlawn Lady Bears went 2-1 at the Jonesboro Tournament this past Friday and Saturday, picking up 8-0 wins over Lincoln, and Obion County (Tenn.) with a 9-3 setback to Bauxite sandwiched in between. The Lady Bears had previously beaten Bauxite by 10 runs earlier this month.

Maumelle Uses 5-Run Third To Beat Wildcats

RISON - Maumelle Charter used a five-run third inning to break the game open as the Falcons beat Rison for the second time this season, 7-3,  to spoil the Wildcats first home game of the season last Thursday at Wildcat Field.

WOODLAWN - Woodlawn scored 15 runs in the second inning - all coming with two out  -   as the Lady Bears blasted the Drew Central Lady Pirates, 19-0, in a non-conference game last Thursday at Lady Bear Field.The game ended after the top of the third due to the 15-run rule.
