Abigail Wilson, the Rison High School October Student of the Month for 7th - 9th grades. Abigail is the daughter of Tamera and David Donaldson. She is active in competitive dance, RHS Student Council, and Gifted and Talented. Abigail is also a member of the Junior Beta Club and FBLA.

Kingsland Council Meeting is Nov. 21

KINGSLAND - The Kingsland City Council's regular monthly meeting has been moved to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Kingsland City Hall, Mayor Sharon Crosby has announced.

Rison City Council Approves Loans For Water Lines

RISON - The Rison City Council approved two loans that are part of a $3.3 million package to replace the city's aging water lines during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday night.Mayor Charles Roberts said the city council approved one loan for $450,595.
