CCSB Approves Nick Bennett For Vacant Zone 4 Position

RISON - Nick Bennett of Rison was unanimously approved by the Cleveland County School Board last week to fill the unexpired term of former Zone 4 school board member Stan Sadler of Rison.

County Fairgrounds' First Sunday Lunch Returns This Week

RISON - The Cleveland County Fair Association is bring back its First Sunday Lunch fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 4, at the County Fairgrounds. This month's menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls, tea and dessert.

First Digital Skills Training at Rison To Be Held Monday

County Cattlemen To Meet Thursday

French Man Finds 7.46-Carat Diamond at Crater State Park

On Thursday, January 11, Julien Navas, of Paris, France, visited Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park for the first time. While there, he found a 7.46-carat diamond on the surface of the park's 37.5-acre search area. Navas was visiting the U.S.
