YARD OF THE MONTH, JUNE 2024 - Cleveland County Cultivators and Master Gardeners have selected Norman and Pam Draper as winners of June 2024 Yard of the Month. Mrs. Draper invited us to tour her beautifully landscaped yard full of all sorts of flowering plants, shrubs and trees.

KINGSLAND - Anyone driving through Kingsland lately will notice a series of banners put up around town welcoming visitors to town. Many of the banners simply say "Welcome to Kingsland" while others are in memory of someone.
NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY - Students were inducted into the Woodlawn chapter of the National Art Honor society May 19. 13 members attended with parents and friends. Students must maintain a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.25 GPA in Art. Three senior members earned honor cords to wear at Graduation this year.

YARD OF THE MONTH: MAY 2024 - Cleveland County Cultivators and Master Gardeners have selected Mike and Evelyn Cash as winners of May 2024 Yard of the Month. The Cash's have an immaculate lawn with beautiful roses and hydrangea, both in bloom at the time of our visit.

RISON - Former Rison Head Football Coach James "Jodus" Wright, who guided the Wildcats to the 1970 state championship, visited some of his former players at the Rison High School Class of 1971 held this past weekend outside of Rison.

RUSSELLVILLE - Twenty-seven Arkansas Tech University spring 2024 graduates earned the Tradition Keeper designation. Among those receiving the honor is Austin Palazzi of Rison.
