RISON - Even after losing their starting quarterback to injury on just the tenth play of the game, underdog Dumas made things interesting for the first quarter of last Friday night’s 8-3A Conference battle at George Walker Field of Champions.
TOUGH RUNNING - Woodlawn senior fullback Ethan Oliver (center) fights for yardage against a big and fast Strong defense in first half action Friday night. Oliver ended up leading Woodlawn in rushing with 55 yards on 13 carries after the Bulldogs came after the Bears’ leading rusher, Garrett Weatherford.
