MONTICELLO - The Rison Junior Wildcats earned a thrilling 24-18 come-from-behind victory over the Drew Central Junior Pirates last Thursday night at Drew Central.Drew Central struck first in the game on a 3 3-yard touchdown run with 5:07 remaining in the second quarter.
TAKING DOWN A PIRATE - Rison’s Jaquis Rauls (center, no. 6) makes contact with the Drew Central quarterback before teammate Eli Turner (left, no. 33) comes in to assist on the 14-yard sack on fourth-and-seven in the second quarter. The Wildcats drove the 56 yards in 16 plays to take a 27-13 lead into halftime. Rauls had a huge game defensively, recording nine tackles, five solo tackles and one turnover.
