Rison City Council Will Meet on July 9

RISON - The Rison City Council will hold its July regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Rison City Hall. The city council voted during its June meeting to move the July meeting as to not conflict with the Independence Day holiday week.

Community Fireworks Show To Be Held Saturday Night

RISON - The Green Cottages of Southern Hills will be hosting its community fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the nursing home in Rison.The fireworks show will be held on the main drive-through the nursing home closest to the Hwy. 35 (Main Street) entrance.
