NEW EDINBURG CLASS OF 1957 GATHERS
RISON SCHOOL GIFTED AND TALENTED VETERANS DAY PROGRAM - The flags of the various divisions of the U.S. Armed Forces flap in the breeze as students from the Gifted and Talented program at Rison School held their annual Veterans Day program at George Walker Field of Champions. The program is becoming an annual tradition in Rison as the students pay tribute to local veterans around Veterans Day each year. This year, the program happen to fall on the same day as Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

FIRST DEER - Miles Taylor, 6, killed his first deer Saturday while hunting with his Pawpaw Oscar Gerard. He is the son of Ashley and Justin Taylor of Rison.
