WOODLAWN - Ethan Saeler rushed for 345 yards and scored five touchdowns as the Woodlawn Bears used a second-half surge to pull away from the Rector Cougars, 68-44, in an eight-man semifinal game Friday night at the Carl Jones Sports Complex.

WOODLAWN - Jude Roberts scored a school record 53 points as the Woodlawn Bears pulled away in the second half for a 78-62 win over the Bearden Bears in a non-conference clash last Thursday at the Woodlawn gym.

Lady ‘Cats Fall At 4A Lonoke

LONOKE - Rison’s Tee Miller made seven 3-pointers and scored 30 points but it wasn’t enough to overcome Class 4A Lonoke as the Lady Wildcats fell 59-45 to the Lady Jackrabbits last Tuesday at Lonoke.All seven of Miller’s treys came in the second half, two in the third and five in the fourth.

LONOKE - Rison made just 9-of-27 free throw attemps as the Junior Lady Wildcats suffered their first setback of the season, 31-25, to the Class 4A Lonoke Junior Lady Jackrabbits last week on the road.
