Rison Elementary Monday - mashed potato chicken bowl or Bosco sticks. Tuesday - Garrett's chicken quesadilla or hamburger. Wednesday - chicken alfredo or chicken sandwich. Thursday - chili dog or chicken fries. Friday - pizza, pizza and sidekicks, Nachos for 4-6th grade.

SMACKOVER, Ark. - Robin Roark, an educator and pastor, has announced his run for the Arkansas State House of Representatives in District 96, which includes much of Cleveland County. Roark will be facing Horace Ray Charles of El Dorado in the Democratic primary election to be held March 5, 2024.

RISON - Cleveland County Cares is collecting donations to help provide clothes and Christmas presents for those local families in need. The fund raises money two ways during the holidays: cash donations and fundraising events.
