RISON - The Woodlawn, Pansy and Rye Volunteer Fire Departments are accepting donations to help install a repeater that will allow the departments to communicate with one another in the event of a natural disaster or widespread emergency.

JONESBORO – A new performance series will be presented by the Historic Dyess Colony: Johnny Cash Boyhood Home. The Sunken Lands Songwriting Circle will be held in Riceland Hall at Fowler Center, located at 201 Olympic Drive in Jonesboro on Saturday, Aug. 12.
