West Wins Air Rifle Competition

HOT SPRINGS - Miles West, 9th grader at Woodlawn High School competed in the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Summit in Hot Springs last week. He won first place in the high school division Air Rifle competition with a perfect score.

Food Pantry Nov. 15 at Macedonia MBC

Pioneer Village Fundraisers Begin Friday

RISON - The Pioneer Village at Rison is hosting two fundraisers to help cover costs of maintenance and preservation of the historic buildings on the property. A BBQ lunch will be held Friday, Nov. 14 beginning at 11 a.m. in the Dollar General parking lot on Hwy. 79.

Tax Collector’s Office Closed Thursday

Cleveland County Tax Collector Patti Wilson has announced that the tax collector’s office at the Cleveland County County Courthouse will be closed this Thursday, Nov. 13, for training. The office will resume regular business hours on Friday, Nov. 14.

Rison Methodist Adding Food Pantry Date

Closure Scheduled on Highway 189 Near Warren
