Community Meeting Spurs New Ideas for Movie Nights, 3-on-3 Tournaments

RISON - While the community meetings that began over the summer were initially hosted by Rison Shine, the final meeting held Monday evening expanded more into an overall Kickstart Cleveland County mission focusing on events and recreation countywide.

KINGSLAND - The Kingsland Fire Department informed the Kingsland City Council during its regular monthly meeting last Thursday night that the department needs a reliable second fire truck but how to pay for it remains a question.

Kingsland Heritage Musical Festival To Be Held Oct. 25

KINGSLAND - Kickstart Kingsland has announced that the Kingsland Heritage Music Festival will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, beneath the water tower outside Kingsland City Hall.The free event will feature live music, food, vendors, activities for children and more.

Story Time Begins Tuesday at Library

Rison Seeks Input on Events, Recreation Tonight

Rison Shine will host the fourth in a series of community meetings at 6 p.m. tonight (Monday, Sept. 29) at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Rison to get community on what type of events and recreation they might like to see in the community.
