Joe Cook Memorial Horseshoe Tournament Returns to Festival

RISON - The Joe Cook Memorial Horseshoe Tournament will return to this year's Rison in the Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 18.The cost per team is $20 and kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Third and Pine Streets in Rison.Registration begins at 10 a.m.

Food Pantry Oct. 18 at Macedonia MBC

RISON - Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located at 7370 Hwy. 35 South, will open its Food Pantry Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The church holds its food pantry the third Saturday of each month.

RISON - Rison United Methodist Church will be hosting a food pantry from 8 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, one week earlier this month.The church, located at 800 Main Street, typically holds its food pantry the fourth Saturday of each month.
